The Logic Studio is simply the best out there. It sets the standard for digital audio workstations. Alongside, data deduplication is one of the hottest storage technologies around and Symantec finally added it to Backup Exec 2010, upping the ante. Both software programs are indispensable - one to musicians and the other to small to medium sized businesses.

With software program utilities making life and work easier by the day, it is no surprise that today in the market different kinds of software programs are available to meet our various needs. So while there is Apple Logic Studio for the musicians, there is Symantec backup exec 2010 software for medium-sized businesses. Two different entities, two different needs and two different programs aimed at catering to those requirements.

What are Apple Logic Studio and Symantec backup exec 2010 software

Logic Studio is a music production suite from the house of Apple Inc, that was first launched in September, 2007 and is everything that a musician needs to write, compose or record music. It is supposed to be the largest collection of modeled instruments, sampler instruments, effect plug-ins, and audio loops ever found in a single set and consists of eleven components which are the Logic Pro, Mainstage, Soundtrack Pro, WaveBurner, Studio Instruments, Studio Effects, Apple Loops, Apple Loops Utility, Impulse Response Utility, Compressor, and QuickTime Pro. It also contains 6 content DVDs containing Jam Pack collections, sound effects, surround music beds, EXS24 samples, and impulse response files and a demo content DVD.

On the other hand, Symantec backup exec 2010 software is aimed at helping mid-sized businesses save time and money by protecting more data and utilizing less storage. Backup Exec 2010 offers fully integrated data de-duplication (elimination of duplicate or redundant information) and archiving technologies and is the first backup and recovery solution to offer granular recovery of Microsoft Exchange, SQL and Active Directory in VMware and Hyper-V environments from a single pass backup.

New features in the latest versions

The changes in the new Logic Studio are not anything remarkable but the same low price tag as the older versions is quite a steal. It has an appreciably upgraded set for Pro 9 and MainStage 2, improved Soundtrack Pro 3 integration, and graphic automation in WaveBurner 1.6. The expanded content also comes with the new Amp Designer and Pedalboard plug-ins.

The Backup Exec 2010 too has some new features, like, Unified Archiving, with two new archive options to provide unified backup and archiving for Windows file systems and Exchange environments by archiving data from the backup copy, instead of pulling data from the source, and also the first backup and recovery software to deliver granular recovery for virtual Microsoft applications from a single pass backup.

King of Software offer Symantec Backup Exec 2010 Software and Apple Logic Studio for mid-sized businesses save time and money.
