Like every other award ceremony the Grammys held its usual share of fashion statements, performances and celebrity gossips. After the nominees were announced in the December of 2013, there were a lot of speculations on who will take away the award. As the event unfolded on Sunday, the audience witnessed a number of brilliant stage performances and handing away of awards for the best music in different categories. Daft punk and the duo Lewis and Macklemore won four trophies each. The best new artist award was bagged by the Lewis and Macklemore. Just like any other awards show, the red carpet has camera's running in all angles. With the flowery dress of Ariana Grande to the suited up, along with the cane, Madonna, there was classy to funky and more funky that was on display on the red carpet. If Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande stuck to the feminie touch, Bill Ray Cyrus and Keith Urban kept with the casual look, there was yet another winner who managed to turn heads around. It was the producer Pharrell William who took home his share of the awards. The mountain top brown hat he sported not only received turned gazes, but also considerable twitter traffic. The producer managed have a twitter account started in his hat’s name and the fast food joint Arby’s also tweeted asking for their hat back. The hat is the signature logo of the fast food company.

Who performed?

The Grammy’s this was a star studded event with all the hype and glamour of the performances. There were Beyonce and Jay-Z performing their new hit Drunk in Love, Pink and Nate Ruess with their Just give me a reason, Metallica performed their 'One', along with a whole list of other stars who took to the stage. The Grammy’s this year also saw the two Beatle singers Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr perform their hit Queenie eye. Hollywood gossip has it that, the event had its share of brilliant performances, red carpet shockers and predicted wins. The audiences and the fans had no doubt a great evening witnessing all of it. It was an eventful Grammy's and will be looking forward to another year of wins and performances.
