Globalization has made the world a small place. Owing to globalization, economies of several countries have flourished to a great extent. Be it trade, service, travel, or education sector, none of them remain untouched by the effects of globalization. Opening the gates of international trade, has led to the development of various other sectors, thus making distance only a word. With massive globalization came massive development and with it the need for qualified individuals. Thus, through the trade gate, the gates of education sector also opened.

When talking about India, it is in its culture to keep God and guests at par. Hence, every year India sees a major chunk of foreign students coming to the country to seek education and discover the real India. There are many universities in India for international students that provide them an opportunity to gain education and with it discover all about India. One such organization is Symbiosis Centre for International Education or SCIE. International students from around 85 countries pursue their undergraduate and post graduate studies at Symbiosis. Also, the best management institute in India is a part of SCIE. SCIE understands how difficult it can get in the procedure of admission for foreign students in India. And for that, it provides full support and also its admission process is all carried out online. With its different initiatives SCIE becomes the best Indian educational centre for foreign nationals. Here is what different programs of SCIE has to offer:

Student Program: In this program the students from different universities around the world get a chance to study in SCIE for a semester and choose any subject of their choice. The marks they secure are floated around their respective university and included in their regular program. Similarly, the students from SCIE can also study in any of its collaborated universities.

Faculty Program: Under this, any faculty member from the collaborated universities can come to India and teach in any of the colleges of SCIE. The faculty need to be present for a minimum of 1-6 months.

  1. Study India Program: In this program the international student is given a buddy who is an Indian student. This buddy does not only help the foreign national academically, but also introduces him/her to the diverse Indian culture.

So, these are the initiatives that SCIE has undertaken to make the foreign nationals feel at home. It certainly stands on its belief ‘Vasudheva Kutumbhkam’ which means, ‘the world is one family’. SCIE has a collaboration with many of the renowned universities of the country, which helps not just the foreign nationals but also Indian students to get an immense exposure. Thus, SCIE has taken that step to make the world a smaller place.
