Colleges accepting NATA

NATA is the entrance exam that is a qualifying criteria to help secure admission in different colleges across the country.

NATA is conducted by the Council of Architecture for admission to B.Arch courses for a duration of 5 years. The exam is slated to be held on 16th April 2017. There are multiple colleges that are known for accepting NATA score. Some of them are as follows:

Sir JJ College of Architecture

This was established in 1910, and affiliated to the University of Mumbai. This college ranks in the top 10 colleges list for architecture. The college is well-equipped in two buildings along with a small workshop established for learning of its students.

IIT Roorkee, Department of Architecture

The IIT Roorkee introduced its 5 year B.Arch course in 1956. The course offers a wide range of learning opportunities in terms of faculty opportunities and text book material and also other iscollaboration programmes.

Chandigarh College of Architecture:

This college was established in 1961 and it is affiliated to Punjab university. This campus is spread over an area of 20,000 square metres, and provide facilities to students like hostel, gym, cricket and baseball.

NIT Trichy

This university has ranked 4th among top 10 architecture colleges in the country. This college offers a lot of undergraduate courses in addition to Bachelor of Architecture.

The course consists of imparting basic architecture skills and knowledge, along with software skills like daylight,3D Studio Max, Autocad – these skills help the students shape their career.

NIT Calicut

Setup as Regional Engineering College Calicut in 1961 known for undergraduate, postgraduate and other doctoral courses. The Department of architecture plays a pivotal role in laying the basic foundation for students.

BIT Mesra

This is established in the year 1993 and has emerged as the top 10 architecture colleges in India. The students are exposed to basic architectural knowledge- both theoretical and practical aspects.

RVCE Bangalore

RVCE Bangalore is affiliated to the Visveraya Technological University, Belgaum which was established in 1963. The college consists of 11 disciplines along with B.arch as one of them.

Rizvi College of Architecture

This is affiliated to the University of Mumbai, the college is located near Bandra West, Mumbai. This campus provides a lot of facilities including the following facilities – exhibition hall, computer centers with workshop, library and other laboratory.
