The Pathfinder has been given a new look for 2017 and is now an even more attractive proposition. The model now has more torque and power with all the latest safety innovations, to create the full package. So, here are just a few key features Perth drivers can expect from the 2017 Pathfinder.

Three Variants:

When shopping for the new Nissan Pathfinder for sale, Perth drivers will find that they have a choice of three different variants. Each is equipped with the naturally aspirated Nissan V6 3.5 litre engine paired with a CVT transmission. There is also the option for a four wheel drive or hybrid drivetrain.

The petrol V6 delivers 202 kW of power, which is up from 190 kW on the previous model. The torque is also up from 325 Nm to 340 Nm. This was achieved by adding direct injection and a new mirror bore coating applied to the cylinders in order to reduce friction. These changes have also reduced the fuel consumption rate taking it down to 9.9 litres per 100 kilometres.

The Hybrid drivetrain is unchanged and remains powered by a supercharged 2.5 litre four cylinder petrol engine paired with a 15 kW electric motor. Together this produces 188 kW of power and has a fuel economy of 8.6 litres per 100 kilometres.

Unchanged Pricing:

When any model is upgraded, the immediate assumption is that buyers will need to shoulder an additional charge. However, this is not the case with the new Nissan Pathfinder for sale. With the exception of the two wheel entry level ST, which has increased by $500, the pricing remains the same across the range. At the top of the range, the Ti hybrid is priced at $69,190, plus on the road costs.

Additional Features and Technology:

Inside the cabin, it is largely unchanged, but there is lots of new features and technology. Across the range, the standard equipment includes 18 inch alloys, cruise control, tri zone climate control, 8.0 inch infotainment system, tyre pressure monitor, powered mirrors, privacy glass, rear parking sensors and eight way powered driver’s seat.

The higher spec models include heated front seats, power adjustable front passenger seats, sat nav, Around View camera system, blind spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control. At the top of the line, there is also driver’s seat memory function, rear entertainment system, and an automatic tailgate.
