Simulacra Studio London SW9 - Professional Photography Studios Ideal for Editorial Photography

Simulacra Studio is an exceptional resource for photographers and videographers wanting to shoot in an affordable, spacious, well equipped London studio.

Based in the railways arches of the former Brixton East Station which closed down in the early 70's, the Simulacra Studio premises are a bit of a local landmark, this makes for a very interesting setting with a lot more features than the usual white box and is perfect for editorial photography.

There is more than one studio space on offer un their roof plus additional spaces next door and over the road but the most commonly hired studios are One & Two.

Studio One has it all, 2000 sq ft of interrupted shooting space which includes a very large shooting area with overlooking mezzanine balcony, a lovely make up room with gold Vintage mirrors, barber's chair, mobile hairdressing back wash unit and power shower plus a green room to die for with fully licensed bar and pool table.

The space is Bowen's pre lit with enough lighting equipment to get your shoot underway, there is infinite extra kit from suppliers PixiPixel should you need it, book it in advance ready for your shoot and it's just a courier delivery away.Running time is 1-am-6pm but extra hours are available on request, weekdays are £265 inc VAT whereas Saturday's and Sunday's are £300 inc VAT.

There is also the smaller Studio Two on offer, at 700 sq ft this is a perfectly sized, light studio with high arched ceiling, oak flooring and bespoke make up station.This is a very affordable studio at £195inc VAT for a full week day 10am-6pm, again the space is Bowen's pre lit with inclusive lighting package and all the extras such as Colorama and green screen are available.

Both studios are also available for half days.

Simulacra Studio also partner with their studio neighbours and have access to a small studio with a skate ramp and a vast ex Victorian furniture warehouse with stripped brick walls and spiral staircase, should you wish to shoot here they will provide lighting and Colorama and cater to your specific requirement.

The studios are expanding over Europe also with a new space on the Greek island of Paros in the Cyclades.
