Attachment is a very important feature of email. It allows us to share pictures and documents with our contacts. Here is how you can attach a file in an outgoing AT&T Yahoo email message. The post also covers some troubleshooting tips if you are unable to attach the file. If you are following the correct steps, cross-check them once again else move to the attachment troubleshooting section.

Add Attachment

The steps to add an attachment doesn’t change whether you are composing a new email or replying to a received message. Use the following steps in both the cases:

  • Open your browser and go to official Yahoo AT&T log in page.
  • Log in to your account.
  • Click on the Compose email button.
  • In the compose panel, click on paper clip icon (find it next to Send button).
  • A selection window will appear, browse for the file you want to attach and click on ‘Open’ button in the selection window. You can also select multiple files by pressing ‘Ctrl.’ However; multiple-selection feature varies from browser to browser.
  • The upload will start and you can see it through a loading bar. When the file is attached successfully, an image or file icon will be visible at the bottom of the email message. If you have added the wrong file by mistake, remove it by moving the mouse over the attachment and clicking the X icon. Click ‘Remove All’ option for canceling all attachment files.
  • Click on ‘Send’ button when you are ready to send the message.

You were following the same process but still the attachment is not successful, move ahead to Attachment troubleshooting part.

Attachment Troubleshooting

Here are some quick fixes to solve attachment issues. Try all of them to know which works best.

  • Make sure your browser is listed in Yahoo supported browsers.
  • Clear browser cache and cookies.
  • AT&T email allows file attachment of up to 25MB which can be divided into maximum 50 files. If your attachment file size is large, use free file hosting services such as Dropbox.
  • AT&T doesn’t accept files which have special characters ($, /, @, # etc.) in their name.
  • Encrypted files are also not accepted by AT&T as attachment.

Hope these troubleshoots have solved your issues. If not, Dial toll-free Yahoo AT&T customer support service Number and share your problem in detail with experts.
