Many people, unfortunately, do not appreciate how LPG can help them become more productive in their cooking duties. One reason is that they still succumb to the traditional ways of cooking that they close their doors in new technological advancements that may have the potential to bring their cooking experience to a high level. Another reason is that they just do not know how to use these new breakthroughs. With that, here are six kitchen tips and tricks in using LPG that everyone should be aware of to be efficient and productive in their kitchen duties:

  1. Know your correct LPG tank size. That may sound awkward, but yes, every family or individual who has their kitchen should be aware of which size of LPG they should get. If you have a small kitchen, get the get the LPG mini tanks. If the LPG is for business or industrial uses, there are also available sizes that are suitable for those. So, for you to choose the right LPG tank for you, know your purpose first.

  2. Lock your LPG tanks. People tend to be more forgetful every each passing day, especially because of the distractions available everywhere. Forgetting to close your LPG tanks will, first and foremost, cost you a lot financially. It will cause the chemicals to escape the tank through the air molecules. There will be no LPG left for you to use and you will be buying a new one again! Moreover, forgetting to lock your tanks may cause a fire. It is a very hazardous substance so, you should make sure to close every after use.

  3. Make your LPG tanks your picnic best friends! Refrain from bringing your wood and fire during picnics and outdoor family gatherings. Bring your mini LPG tanks with you instead. It is easy and light to carry. It will allow you to save more time in preparing the food. Plus, unlike wood and fire, it is not messy to have around. How convenient is that?

  4. Use LPG in cooking all of your food! Today, we use Rice Cooker in cooking our rice. We use a Heater in boiling water and cooking noodles. Many people use their LPG tanks only for cooking main meal dishes. If you want to save money and electricity, you do not need to use the Heater, Rice Cooker, and any other appliance to cook food. Use your LPG! It would give you better food quality than those electric appliances.

  5. Clean your stoves. Unclean stoves will make your LPG inefficient. For example, leaving some unnecessary food wastes or rust near or on the burner will not let it produce the adequate fire even if you release an ample amount of LPG to the stove. That would only mean that you are wasting your LPG on nothing.

  6. Budget your LPG. Can one 11KG LPG tank last a month in your household? If not a month, three weeks? If not, how many LPG tanks do you buy in a month for your family consumption? Three? Two? Budgeting your LPG consumption does not only allow you to save up money but also the effort in going to the stores and buying new ones. It is simple to budget you LPG consumption. Implement an efficient household process that would help in controlling your LPG use now!
