The revised Scout has improved ramp angles of 16.6 degrees on the front and 14.5 degrees at the back.

2. The Available Engines:

In Europe, this updated Scout has three different powerplants available to choose from. The first is a 1.8 litre turbocharged petrol unit that generates 132kW of power. The other two options are based on the Volkswagen 2.0 litre turbo diesel engine, and they generate 110 kW and 135 kW of power respectively. In Australia, we only have two of these engines to choose from, the 1.8 litre petrol and the 2.0 litre turbo diesel.

3. Other Interesting Specifications:

Aside from the fairly controversial new front end styling, there are other specifications that many people are not aware of, such as: LED adaptive headlights, a 9.2" touchscreen infotainment center, sat nav, 4G connectivity, WiFi hotspot, trailer assistance, parking assist, city emergency braking and blind spot monitoring.
