Denis Vincent – The Extraordinary Journey Of An Ordinary Man
Posted: May 30, 2017
Entrepreneurs are always interested in new ideas, ventures and ways to make more money, and frankly, there’s nothing wrong with it. However, some business minds function in a different way, often more focused on particular passions and dreams. The story of Canadian entrepreneur Denis Vincent is an inspiring one but in a variety of ways. He is not someone who is interested in just profits. His dreams have been about magnificence, and even after three decades, he holds the same kind of enthusiasm for his work. Let’s find more about him.
The journey
At a young age, Denis discovered his love for business. Knowing that his means and resources are limited, he started early in his career. After working for a year with P.R.C.S. construction insulation as an administrator, he moved to Moto Bateau in the sales department. He wanted to understand the basics of sales and profits, and his five years in the company taught him countless things. For Moto Bateau, he worked for sales and aftermarket services for boats and motorcycles. Denis soon realized his potential in sales, especially auto sales, and worked in private for next ten years in the same field. He has explored fantastic auto sales and export opportunities, even in countries like Asia and Russia.
The passion ahead
During this period, Denis also found himself attracted towards the aviation sector. He knew that the airline industry of Canada had great potential, and he wanted to contribute to the same, in the best possible ways. Within ten years of starting his career, he founded Heli Vincent Inc. – A company that specializes in leasing and sales of helicopter and airplanes and functions out of Alberta, Quebec, and Calgary. Denis also realized that he had a thing for flying, and not many outsiders know that he is a trained pilot and has over 14,000 TT to his credit. Denis and his company have contributed to the sector in many ways.
Many more things ahead
Denis soon found his interest in real estate, and he started his work in the industry in 2000. He collaborated with numerous known names and has been a dominant force for some of the biggest acquisitions and mergers. During this period, Denis was dragged into many controversies by his arch enemies. In a recent interview, he was asked about these heated topics, to which he said, "I believe in business, and I do that. People can say whatever they have to, but I don’t pick the stones they throw at me. Let’s make the world a better place, more as humans." He is also the Chief Financial Officer for Strong Arm Labour & Contracting and is involved in many capacities with the company.
When Denis is not working, he likes to fly. In fact, he has traveled almost in all areas of Canada and plans to do more. Besides his work, Denis is also actively involved in charity and has worked with many local groups for different causes. Surely, his journey is anything but ordinary.
