In the meantime, we’ve got a little something to keep you going and to give you a helping hand on the track to the ultimate spring beauty look. We caught up with makeup legend Pat McGrath who shared with us her top tips for achieving the best-ever brows- perfectly defined and with an awesome arch, this is one hot look for spring! Ahead of the launch of Dolce and Gabbana’s new Shaping Eyebrow Pencil, £32.50, read on to discover Pat’s golden rules…

Pat told us, "The brow liner the last piece of the puzzle in creating a really stunning eye look. There is something about beautifully sculpted brows which not only frame your existing eye look, but your whole face. Whether you have a smoky eye, or a more neutral eye look I think making a statement with a defined brow really makes such a difference. It’s great to have a variety of four gorgeous brow liner shades to choose from, there is something for everyone and I love to use the different shades with different eye looks and for different occasions."

"In terms of application of the brow liner, I would apply your eye make-up as you normally would, using your preferred shade on the eyelids and finishing off with mascara at the end. Once you have your eye look complete that’s when I would apply the brow liner. I think it works best this way so you can balance the brows with your overall eye look."
