Delhi University Admissions 2017

As the results of Board Exams have been announced, the Delhi University (DU) has already invited the applications for admission in its affiliated colleges for various courses. The students have started to apply for the admissions in the Delhi University taking into consideration the trend of every year cutoff. The Delhi University will release the merit-based cutoff list on 20th June 2017.

For some undergraduate courses, there will be an entrance based test. The courses for which the exam will be taken are-

  • Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)

  • B.A (Honors) Business Economics

  • Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)

  • B.A (Honors) Multimedia and Mass Communication

  • B.A (Honors) Music

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis)

  • B.A (Honors) Humanities and Social Sciences

  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, Health Education and Sports

  • B.Tech (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations)

Some of the best colleges of Delhi University that offer the exam based courses and cutoff based courses are-

  • Mirinda House

  • Ramjas College

  • St Stephens College

  • Lady Shri Ram College for Women

  • Delhi School of Economics

  • Daulat Ram College

  • Hindu College

  • Kirori Mal College

  • Shri Ram College of Commerce

  • Maulana Azad Medical College

  • Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology

Undergraduate Course Delhi University 2017 Cutoff-

  • The cutoff for the B.Com (Honors) course for the top colleges like SRCC, Kirorimal College, Hansraj College, Sri Venkateswara, Ramjas College and LSR is expected to be between 96 to 98 percent.

  • The cutoff for the B.A courses in the high demanding courses like English and Economics for top colleges like Mirinda House, Hansraj College and LSR is expected to be between 95-98 percent.

  • The cutoff for the B.Sc course for the top colleges of the Delhi University is expected to be between 96 to 98.

Postgraduate Courses Delhi University Admissions:

The Delhi University has postponed the invitation for the Postgraduate courses, but it is going to open the admission window within few days. The students can soon apply for the Postgraduate courses and research-based courses online at the official website of the Delhi University.

The most preferred Postgraduate courses of the Delhi University are as follows-

  • Master in Economics

  • MBA Finance

  • Masters in Literature

  • M.Sc Environmental Science

  • Masters in Political Science

The first cutoff list for the undergraduate course will release on 20th June. The Delhi University will end up the admission process by declaring the sixth final cutoff list by the end of July. The students are advised to get updated with the cutoff release dates.
