Intex Aqua S3 with fast charging battery, VoLTE launched

The device has 2450mAh battery powered by a high-capacity charger that claims to reduce charging time by around 35 per cent.
The 4G-VoLTE smartphone comes with 5-inch HD-IPS display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 2GB RAM.
"With Aqua S3 having high-capacity charger, we have ensured that your smartphone doesn't go off and provides endless entertainment, the biggest advantage otherwise found in feature phones," said Nidhi Markanday, Director and Business Head, Intex Technologies, in a statement.
Running on Android Nougat 7.0 Operating System, the phone offers 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera with LED flash.
Domestic smartphone manufacturer Intex Technologies on Thursday launched Amazon India exclusive "Elyt e7" smartphone at Rs 7,999. The smartphone boast 5.2-inch HD IPS screen covered with 2.5D curved glass for enhanced user experience.
The smartphone is powered by MediaTek 1.25 GHz 64-bit quad-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
"With 'ELYT e7', we have further enriched our diverse product portfolio to stay ahead in time and made our offerings the best of all for our discerning consumers," said Nidhi Markanday, Director and Business Head, Intex Technologies in a statement.
On the camera front, the smartphone sports 13-megapixel (MP) auto-focus camera at the rear and 5MP selfie camera at the front. The smartphone houses powerful 4020mAh battery.
Home-grown mobile manufacturer Intex Technologies (India ) Ltd has set a sales target of Rs 520 crore with launch of 25 new mobile handsets lined up over the next three months.
The new models to be launched between June and August comprise 16 smartphones and nine feature phones. The smart devices will be 4G-compliant and will be priced in the range of Rs 4,000 to Rs 8,000. The feature phones will be priced between Rs 700 and Rs 1,000.
"We have set a monthly sales target of 350,000 to 400,000 units of smartphones that will be launched in the next three months, besides 800,000 to 1 million feature phones. The average selling price (ASP) is fixed at Rs 820 for features phones and Rs 5,500 for smartpones", said Sharad Agarwal, product head, Intex Technologies.
He said the company had set a sales target of Rs 400 crore for the smartphones and Rs 120 crore for feature phones.
The company will invest Rs 100 crore in research & development, marketing and product development.
Intex intends to export Rs 300-crore smartphones and Rs 150-crore feature devices in the next three months.
