An Overcurrent protection exists when current exceeds the rating of conductors or equipment. It can result from overload, short circuit, or ground fault.

The ADR241C is a 3 OC and 1 EF Communicable Medium Voltage Protection Relay with Instantaneous high set and programmable output design in very compact cabinet.

Numerical Communicable 3OC + 1EF Protection Relay : ADR241C includes -

  • 4 Element (3 Phase + EF) over current IDMT with instant trip.
  • Instantaneous OC Protection with adjustable Timer.
  • Selection of Curve: Six selectable curves (Normal Inverse1 (C1), Normal Inverse2 (C2), Very Inverse (C3), Extremely Inverse (C4), Long Time Inverse (C5) & Definite Time (C6).
  • Separate curve selection for phase and EF.
  • Latching of fault current up-to last 5 fault.
  • Site selectable CT secondary
  • Breaker Fail & Trip circuit supervision.
  • RS 485 Port for Remote SCADA & IEC60870-5-103 Protocol for Communication.

A Switchgear protection is a generic term which includes all the switching devices associated with mainly power system protection. It also includes all devices associated with control, metering and regulating of electrical power system.

Numerical 3 OC & 1 EF Switchgear Protection Relay : ADR141A includes –

The ADR141A is a 3 OC and 1 EF Switchgear Protection relay with Instantaneous high set and programmable output to simplify feeder protection wiring.
