Examination time is one of the most stressful times in a student’s life. Most of the stress and anxiety builds up as the students are required to juggle between a number of things and the time is limited. Those who plan to sit for competitive exams such as NEET or IIT JEE have to manage a lot more within the given time and their stress levels are likely to go up further. Here are a few effective tips to manage stress while preparing for competitive examinations:

Online Coaching

The best way to manage your time efficiently is to opt for NEET/ IIT JEE online preparation. Unlike the conventional coaching classes you do not require planning your entire day as per your class timings. In online coaching you have the option of choosing your time and place of study and that goes a long way in managing your time efficiently. Efficient time management helps in reducing the stress levels.

Invest in Planning

You are likely to feel more stressed when you are clueless about how to go about the syllabus to finish everything in time. It is thus suggested not to just start studying chapter after chapter. Begin by doing a proper planning on what you have to learn and how much time you require devoting to each of your topic to complete your syllabus. When you opt for IIT JEE online preparation, preparing a schedule becomes easier as you can manage your time as per your choice.

Take Adequate Sleep

Nothing can cause as much stress as lack of sleep. Compromising on sleep hampers your power to concentrate, decreases productivity and leads to unnecessary stress and anxiety. Hence, do not ever compromise on your sleep to increase your study hours. Take at least 7-8 hours of sleep every night to wake up fresh and concentrate better on your tasks.

Exercise

Exercising increases the flow of endorphins also known as the happy hormones. An increase in these hormones helps in combating stress to a great extent. It is suggested to take out at least half an hour from your schedule each day to indulge in physical activities such as cycling, skating, running, swimming, yoga, dancing, etc.

Meditate

Meditation helps in calming our mind and lowering the stress levels. Every student must take out 15-20 minutes of time each day to practice meditation. This is a great way to keep stress at bay.

Test Your Knowledge

Institutes offer IIT JEE online preparation also have online mock tests on offer to help you test your knowledge. These tests are prepared as per the JEE pattern. When you already have a first-hand experience of giving these tests a couple of times before the exam, you will feel less stressed and more confident when you sit for the actual exam.
