Tea tourism refers to a time, in which we have spent the most of our time in the woods and through the plantations. Tea tourism refers to a walk-through villages and trials of nature after you have enjoyed sipping on a few cups of coffee through the balcony of your room.
The bungalow will probably be of colonial times, built by an old Britisher, who has probably sworn to leave by the hills and by the terrains. In the evening, you are entertained by a local culture., music and dance, that encompasses a glass of wine too.

In short, tea bungalows in Darjeeling are heritage bungalows, that bring about rustic music and entertainment to take you to the top forms of vacation and holidaying. Some of these bungalows have recently converted into resorts in Darjeeling.
Except for a few cases, tea tourism is not actually meant for budget travelers. The special and luxury experience in the gardens, do not often come easy. Neither they are cheap. Having said this, there are also a few gardens where tea tourism can even be afforded by the mid-budget travelers.
Tea bungalows in Darjeeling go a long way. They go back to the times when Darjeeling was just being recognized as the prominent tea garden resort of the world. Today, the tea bungalows and mostly by the plantations, extending their houses, in order to make home stays for tourists at low budget and even offer them homemade food together with an excellent overview of the tea garden life.
Tea garden stays are almost always meant to bring you closer to nature and experience living as though you are living in a 5-star hotel. These estates mostly include meals, transfers, garden activities and even sightseeing. For a few resort, you will have the option of room in rent and other additional charges for food and other activities.
These tea bungalows and resorts of Darjeeling are managed by the staff and services are provided by family members of estate workers. They are not professional hotel industry workers meant to work for you. Some gardens have introduced TVs in some rooms, while others prefer not to do so and keep you detached from the real garden and nature life. Resorts can even give you facilities of gyms, restaurants and 24-hour room service.
