The Lalit Suri Hospitality School – Faridabad is the maiden venture of The Lalit Suri Hoteliers Group which has been known for developing one the first chains of five-star hotels in India. This has been established aiming for providing the world-class education of Hospitality to Indian students and provide them professional training and on hands experience in the field of hospitality and hotel management. For this purpose TLSHS has opened BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, which is not just a degree course for the aspirants of career in Hospitality, but it is a holistic professional training and internship programme to match the upcoming standards of hospitality all around the world.

The course run by TLSHS has curriculum that aims to provide the in-depth knowledge of all the subjects that include, but are not limited to, Food Production, Food Safety & Quality, Food & Beverages Service, Front Office Operation, Accommodation Operation, Facility Planning, Financial Management, Hotel Accountancy, Human Resource Management, Tourism Marketing and Tourism Management. The students are encouraged to do the laboratory work, field work or practicals under the guidance of expert educators, as and when needed.

Some of the notable events in this series are wine tasting, War of Spices organized by Rawal Institutions, visit AAHAR factories etc. Since the main line of approach of TLSHS is ‘learning by doing’, the students are given simulation for various real hospitality circumstances where they can really experience the same urgency, rush or complication that arises and be prepared for it beforehand. When the simulation is coupled with real experience in Lalit Hotels during the internship, it gives the positive reinforcement to the application of skills.
