Ben Affleck spotted at a liquor store and our hearts are Sinking

It will be shocking news but all the signs indicate that Ben Affleck is on the verge of a relapse. The star recently revealed that he has successfully completed his rehab stint for his alcohol addiction in the initial months of the year and now he is seen moving towards a relapse.

Ben was holidaying with his recent girlfriend Lindsay Shookus in Maine. Things were all good until the couple was spotted at a liquor store that has raised the speculation that the 44 year old actor has started drinking alcohol again.

The Argo star along with his SNL producer girlfriend was spotted at a liquor store buying "several bottles of liquor" as reported by leading news daily. One of the store employees also confirmed that he saw Ben & Lindsay picking up "two bottles of Rosé and a bottle of Bethenny Frankel‘s Skinny Girl margaritas" over this weekend.

"He said he and his girlfriend were just up for a couple days," the store employee added. There are Umbrella Factory security footages that also show the two celebrities visiting the very alcohol store a day before as well.

The batman actor came out in public to admit in may admitting that he has completed a two week individualized addiction treatment in a rehab facility as a help for his alcohol addiction.

Ben opened up about his rehab stint through an emotional Facebook post where he described his rehab stint as "the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery". He also expressed his gratitude towards his soon-to-be ex wife Jennifer Garner for supporting him throughout.

His Facebook post read, "I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I've dealt with in the past and will continue to confront. I'm lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I've done the work I set out to do,"

Ben has been in and out rehab centers for a long time now. He was in a rehab for a long time in 2001 for his addiction issues.

In an interview with an online magazine, Ben accepted that his rehab stint was a "preemptive strike" as the fact that his father suffered from the same disease and this was the only reason behind his parents split when Ben was just 12.

The addiction also cost Ben his marriage and he had to separate with his wife Jen. However, the two continue to co-parent there three kids, daughters Violet, 11, Serephina, eight, and son Samuel, five.

In the interview, Ben also accepted that his kids were the driving force that forced him to seek help. Also, he thanked Jen for being such a great wife and friend and helping him throughout his journey.

However, with Ben being spotted in the liquor shop once again buying huge stocks of alcohol, all this hardship and support seems to go down the drain. We hope the speculations aren’t true, good luck Ben!!
