Just picture this – a cold and drafty hall full of women of mature age. Talking and discussing things only to fall silent when a person at the podium starts calling out numbers. When this happens, out come the glasses and there is much staring at tickets they hold, much searching around for pens and sometimes jubilant ticking of number and sometimes disappointed nodding of heads. This would go on for sometime with the noise and peering alternating until someone yells "Bingo"! Then there would be much envy and the triumphant declaration of the winner and the game would continue till the final winner is announced. Once this is over people would talk for some time and then leave for their residence with promises and plans for the next session.

Well, this is bingo of the past in UK. Today the whole perspective of Bingo has changed. Today the picture could not be more different. Today you can imagine anyone of both genders and of a wider range of ages, walking to their computers/ laptops/ tablets and switching it on. After this a few clicks and taps and Bingo is on.
