The Whistle Blower on #RamaphosaLeaks Getting Death Threats
Posted: Sep 06, 2017
"If you shut up truth and bury it under the ground, it will but grow, and gather to itself such explosive power that the day it bursts through it will blow up everything in its way": Emile Zola(Famous French Writer).
Same seems to be the case with the recent revelations on the #Ramaphosaleaks where it’s been learnt that the Sunday Independent Editor, Steve Motale has received Death threats in regards to Ramaphosa Emails.
Though it was not been cleared by him who is exactly sending those emails and what are the sources of the same but the statement certainly point fingers on Ramaphosa and his WMC supported allies who further called this as a mere attempt to defame the future presidential candidate.
Motale further added that Ramaphosa’s Camp already knew about the revelations and also about him working on the same and that’s the sole reason he was getting constant threats before and even after the story published in the newspaper.
After the failing of Ramaphosa’s urgent court interdict application against the paper on Saturday night, the contents of an e-mail sent to him by Motale started trending on social media. Though it’s been claimed that e-mail addresses were fake, Motale reinstated that they were real and the motive was just to expose the real facts.
On the other hand Ramaphosa issued a statement on Saturday saying that the "smear campaign" against him is a mere effort to initiate a dirty war against all of those working to restore the values, principles and integrity of the ANC and society.
He Further added, "It has come to my attention through questions sent to me by the editor of a Sunday newspaper that a number of e-mails from my private e-mail account have been illegally obtained and provided to at least one media outlet,"
Moreover, In reply to the same,Mortale quoted. "Let them interrogate the facts on the table and not attack the messenger, this blind loyalty to individuals is what makes people stupid. It is this very blind loyalty that’s breaking this continent and taking it backward"
So it’s a given that whilst the Deputy President seems to be frustrated and in a "Nowhere to Hide" situation currently, its quite a possibility that he would definitely go "No holds barred" towards suppressing anything or anyone which would come on the way of his Political ambitions and that’s where the whole nation should come forward in support of Motale as he is the one who has taken a guard without any fear to expose the dirty reality of Ramaphosa and its WMC allies and its only with the support of the masses, people like him would be able to withstand the strong influences in a quest to bring the Radical economic transformation we all are dreaming about.
