Bathrooms are some of the most focused areas in a house interior by the modern designers and owners alike. The just offer such liberty in the design aspect and so many different surfaces that can be designed separately in order for them all to look good and unique when looked at as a complete design theme that they just cannot be ignored. There are a whole plethora of bathroom design themes that you can implement in your private space to make it look elegant, unique, attractive and comfortable to use.

Most great bathroom design themes require bigger bathroom spaces and preferably separate ones for the shower, toilet and general use areas, although smaller spaces can still be customized to look great as well. If you are looking for outstanding bathroom decoration tips, you can make your bathroom stand out from the crowd by using any of these brilliant ways mentioned below:

1: Glass-Enclosed Showers

Shower spaces in bathrooms are used by people for washing themselves up and water is used in abundance. There is a strong need of a separate space that drains all its water by itself without leaking any into the rest of the bathroom at all. Glass shower enclosures present a perfect solution in this regard as they can be fitted with waterproof seals along their edges and an almost completely closing door that doesn’t let any water leak through.

These shower enclosures are available in all kinds of designs and finishes from top sellers like Fab Glass and Mirror, you can get the frosted glass ones if privacy in the shower is something you require and also the very elegant looking inside design ones. You can fit the shower enclosure on a single back wall with 3 glass sides, in a corner with 2 glass walls or the whole length of the back wall with on the front glass side as required. The guarantee with this kind of a glass shower implementation when all the edges are sealed off is that there will be no water leaking into the other side and you will be able to enjoy the non-shower side completely dry.

2: Bright Light Filled Showers

Fill your shower up with as much light as you can to highlight the beautiful tile and faucet designs efficiently. Not only will this excessive lighting of the shower space highlight the wall, floor and faucet designs in an appropriate way but will also make thing clear for you or anyone stepping in the shower space at any time of the day.

For a natural day feel, if one of the walls of your bathroom is facing the outdoors, install clear glass panel in a large size, this panel can be a frosted glass one for privacy. This will provide natural daylight during the day time and make you use as less artificial lighting and energy as possible.

3: Shower and Steamy Delight in One Place

Don’t we all love a steam room? Almost everyone will answer this with a big YES. A great way of implementing a shower and a steam room together is by separating your shower space with an enclosure of any type that you think looks good in there and then placing a steam arrangement in the rest of the bathroom space along with a comfortable bench and a few extra towels as well.

Once you have implemented this idea, you can either have a steam bath first and then go to the shower or take a shower first and then enjoy the steam room as well. Put dim lights in the steam room for added luxurious feel and make sure to let the liquid flow to the drain efficiently because steam turns into water as soon as it cools down slightly.

4: Cramped for Space? Small Shower is the Way

With the price of land soaring up ever so much, it’s getting harder for people to afford a bigger house and for obvious reasons, bathrooms are the ones that suffer the most in terms of their space allocation. A great idea for this kind of a situation is to install a smaller sized shower that is separated from the rest of the areas like the toilet or dressing areas. Shower screens or enclosures work great for this implementation as well and they are available in all sizes and dimensions.

You can always manage the shower space in the corner of the bathroom and leave out the rest of the space for someone else if that’s what is required. Just make sure to place absorbent Matts in front of the shower space that should absorb all the liquid from your feet falling down when you come out of the shower and help keep all the rest of the space as dry as possible.

5: Own a Private Spa

Turn your shower in a spa by using just the right materials and design themes in them. Match all the tiles on different walls and floor in color but with slightly different designs and use a space like faucet arrangement along with an extended wall mounted large bench to complete the feel. Place spa like candles, solutions, pedicure equipment or anything that you might need in wall carved shelves to mimic those in a real spa.

Once everything is done right, you will be able to enjoy the comfy and cozy feel of a spa right in your home without having to book those expensive appointments at all. Additionally, you can invite friends over as well to show off your fancy spa bathroom.

6: Bring Nature Right In

Like natural designs including trees and woods, well we have a perfect solution for you. Wood logs in equal length are available from wood stores, get an adequate number of them to be installed outside the glass walls of the shower enclosure and attach about 4 feet long logs on their top side that travel inside the shower space from the ceiling side about 2 feet as well to give you the natural feel while inside the shower as well.

Make sure to have the logs well scrapped off and with no sharp edges or corners at all as sharp edges can cause injury or harm to people when they touch them or pass by them accidently touching them with different parts of the body. Install a natural wood entry door for the bathroom and place a wooden ladder in the corner to complete the look.

7: Open Shower Space

Although most homes have showers enclosed in glass enclosures or curtains or whatever they have been separated with, however, this is not necessary at all and great options are available that use other ideas as well. You can leave your shower open with matching tile work as in the rest of the bathroom to create a uniform look. The floors in most bathrooms are usually tiled up as well so the water flowing on them will not cause any harm.

Although this ideas is a great one but is not suitable for bathrooms of the first floors or any floors that are above the ground floors for that matter. Water seeping in in the tile gaps can flow into the ceiling and cause major water damage when they are implemented on higher floors.
