LPU Gaining the Global Edge in the Field of Architecture

Architecture is an extremely creative field. There are no boundaries of imagination for the people who possess a creative mind. Architecture plays a vital role in better quality and advanced infrastructure and investment into the infrastructure with better technology and artistic structures attract enormous economic potential.

Architecture Design International Competition-

Through the creativity, an architect can create the structure which can attract a lot of tourists across the world. Lpu (Lovely Professional University) students have recently set a global standard as their Architectural Design has been placed atop all the International submissions from all over the world. The students of LPU Architecture and Design department had submitted the architectural and landscape design idea which made them the world-winners.

An Innovative Design-

The innovative Architectural design idea called as 'The Harmonious Niche' of the LPU students involves a nature-friendly design planned in the context of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This design won the first prize at the UK based Global Design Competition organized by the Arch-Daily. The LPU students marked a tremendous victory over 2000 competitors from other Architectural organizations and Universities across the world who came from the countries like Italy, China, Russia, Norway, Poland, Vietnam and more.

The Architectural design is 18 meters tall and 5-storey building completely influence by nature and designed to experience the natural environment. The design is in such a way that a person can enjoy the beauty of the environmental surroundings starting from the 360-degree view of the Island to the underwater aquatic life. The staircase is also made of local material bamboo in the spiral form which gives a natural touch to the structure.

Learning Professional Architecture-

The field of Architecture is a fascinating field for the students who can think out of the box and are eager to develop something innovative. LPU University offers a 5 years undergraduate Architecture course offering an elite architectural education which is approved by the C.O.A (Council of Architecture). In the course, the students are nourished with the designing and software skills.

How to Join Course?

To get an admission in the LPU Architecture course, the student must qualify 10+2 (with Maths and English) with 60% aggregate marks. The Diploma students with 3 year course in any discipline recognized by the central/state government are also eligible to join the course. The students are also required to qualify the NATA exam to get the admission.
