Configure Comcast Email Account at Comcast Technical Support

You can access your Comcast Account through email programs installed on your system. Here are some steps you will need to perform using two email programs on your system:
Windows Mail
- From the start menu, go to "All programs" and then click on Windows Mail
- In the menu bar, select the Tools option and then click on Accounts
- Choose your account and click on "Add"
- Type your desired Name on the Display field for your Email address
- Type your address into the Email address field and click "Next" to continue
- In the Incoming Server Field, type "mail.comcast.net" and in the Outgoing Server Field options, click smtp.comcast.net
- Then click on Next. Type your Comcast Username and password in the Account and Password field respectively
- Check the box of Remember Password if you want your system to remember it. Avoid doing this if you are using a public computer
- Click Finish. Your account has now been configured.
Windows Live Mail
- Open your Windows Live Mail in the system and go to Account Menu. Click on + to add an account.
- Enter your Email address, password, and Name for your account in the respective fields.
- Check the box on "Manually configure server settings". Click Next to continue.
- Type the server address mail.comcast.net in the incoming server and smtp.comcast.net in the outgoing server.
- Check on "Require a secure connection (SSL)" and "Requires authentication code" in the incoming server information.
- Enter "465" in the port field on Outgoing Server information.
- Finish the configuration process by clicking on "Next"
