The pre-decimal coins of Australia refer to those coins, which were minted in the first half of 18th century, or 1901 to 1965, more specifically. The Australian Penny

The Australian pre decimal coins were generally made from copper and silver, and some of them were also made from alloy, for better strength, and other advantages.
