Overall Placement Record:

Over 100 companies visited the campus to recruit the students from the campus. As per the record, the number of recruiters coming to the campus for the recruitment has increased this year. The industry linkages of the institute have helped to invite the leading companies to the campus. The report says that there is a median salary increase of 2.28% and come at a figure of INR 9 lakhs. 29% students of the batch bagged the package of above 10 lakhs.

The data in the reports say that the total students that are eligible from the whole batch were 243 out of which 5 opted out. Out of the total number of students who appeared in the recruitment process, 232 students got placed. As it has already been mentioned that there were many new recruiters this year. Out of the total 100 companies, 43 recruiters were first-timers. The highest salary offered to a student was INR 16.1 lakhs. The median salary figured at INR 9 lakhs and the average salary was calculated to be INR 9.3 lakhs. The total number of PPOs/PPIs participated were 23.

Salary Breakup record:

GIM offer PGDM is four specializations that are Marketing, Human Resources, Finance and Operations/IT. There were 122 students in Marketing branch. Marketing managed to get the average salary of INR 9.2 lakhs for the students. The highest salary offered to a student was INR 15.34 lakh. In human resource branch, the total students were 21 and the average salary was figured at INR 8.83 lakh. The highest package to a student of HR was offered at INR 12.14 lakhs. Finance stream managed to secure an average salary of INR 9.41 lakh for their 82 students. The highest package offered to a student of Finance was INR 16.1 lakhs. The total number of students in Operations/IT branch was 19. The average salary offered to them was INR 9.74 lakh and the highest salary package was bagged at INR 14.17 lakhs.

Sector-wise placement percentage:

The students of GIM were placed in various industrial and corporate sectors. The data will elaborate deeply upon the placement percentages in the diverse sectors. The highest percentage placement sector was BFSI which secured 34% placements. The lowest sector was Manufacturing/Automobile sector which secured 3% placements. The figures of other sectors are-

IT/ITES- 29%

FMCG/FMCD- 10%

Consulting- 14%

Analytics/Market Research- 5%

Others- 5%

Major Recruiters:

Some significant recruiters that visited the campus for hiring were- Deloitte, IFMR Capital, Godrej, MAQ Software, SaaSFocus, EY, Wipro Technologies, Standard and Chartered, ITC, Blue Star, Asian Paints, LG Electronics and more.
