People suffering from dyslexia may have trouble with reading, writing, math, learning, spellings, and sometimes, even music. In comparison to girls, it is more of boys who are seen having dyslexia. If you think that dyslexia is a condition in which your child will only read from right to left or will reverse the words and letters, then this is not true. There are more symptoms and characteristics of this problem. Some dyslexia patients find difficulty in recognizing the visual form of words also. This means, their brains are wired in a different way, which makes it difficult for them to split the letters of written words into the discrete sounds of their language. Well, dyslexia can occur at any level of logical ability. Sometimes, you may find your child with less confidence. He may not try hard enough to accomplish the target you have given to him. As far as the treatment for dyslexia is concerned, it consists of some educational tools that are used to enhance the ability of children to read. Generally, medicines and counseling are not considered as an effective treatment for dyslexia. Also, an important thing to note here is that people around dyslexia patients need to educate themselves more about this condition. The earlier you recognize the problem and the treatment begins, the more beneficial it turns out to be. It is always better to start the treatment when a child is young as this will help improve his reading and learning abilities.
Social Phobia is another behavioral disorder that is commonly seen in people of all age groups. It is also known as anxiety disorder and is commonly characterized by a determined fear of social situations or performance situations.
