A LASER is a bundle of wavelength and beam of photons. It stands for "light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation. The output of a laser is a coherent electromagnetic field. The all waves have same frequency. The main functionality is designed produce infrared and visible-light from cavity and combined to produce strong waves. The cavity contains solid, liquid gas and choice depends on requirement of wavelength. The energy is introduced in to the cavity by source and this method called pumping. The electromagnetic field appears inside the laser cavity at the natural frequency of the atoms of the material that fills the cavity. Lasers have been used in dentistry since 1994 to treat a number of dental problems.

Cavity detector: Low intensity radiation is used to detect the cavities at early stage.

Tooth sensitivity: Hot and cold sensitivity tubules are sealed with the help of them. This makes the people to consume anything as per the interest without the pain. Normally people with sensitive tooth cannot consume very hot or cold item. This relieves from that problem.

Crown lengthening: The reshaping is possible in case of crown lengthening and gummy smile.

Benign tumor: They remove the benign tumor without pain and sutures from gums,

Teeth whitening: It is the procedure which makes teeth white, the laser use low intensity rays to whiten them and there are no side effects with long term results.
