Lifestyle diseases like high blood sugar levels, high blood pressure, polycystic ovary in women, have become common household diseases these days. These are slow and can be fatal if not maintained and treated with proper care.

You need to stay healthy and fit in order make sure that these incurable diseases do not come to dominate your life. It is thus extremely crucial that you maintain certain basic regulations and fitness regimes in your daily life so that you can cope up with these diseases and in general stay healthy. Here are some tips that will help you to do so effectively:

  • The first thing that you will have to do is get exercise every day. It does not have to be for long hours. Just a simple 30 minutes of brisk walking will suffice, but exercising is extremely important if you want to stay fit. Brisk walking is the solution if you high blood sugar, if you want to reduce weight or if you want to keep your pressure in check. This is thus a very important part of your exercise regime that you should make a part of your daily routine. Along with it if you can manage time, you can always work out!
  • The other thing that you will have to do is make sure that you have a protein rich breakfast and light meals throughout the day. Oily and fat food should be avoided which are in general very harmful for the body. If you want to keep the occasional binging going then you will of course have to make sure that you do not eat fatty food on a regular basis. Have everything that you like but in limited quantities. Make sure that you have at least one boiled vegetable every day and incorporate fruits as a part of your everyday diet.
  • If you have already been diagnosed with any one of the above three mentioned lifestyle diseases, then you will have to keep medical equipment at home that will monitor your readings. For example, you will have to
buy blood pressure machine and keep a regular check if you have high blood pressure, you have to get a glucometer if you have high blood sugar etc. These will help you to get to know your readings and then of course monitor them accordingly.

  • Though this is very difficult to do considering the activities that we have to do every day, try to stay as stress free as possible. Do not take on any extra load that puts a pressure on your mental health and try to remain as calm and relaxed as possible at all times. You can try out yoga or meditation if you are having any difficulty in this sector.
  • And last but not the least, you need to make sure that maintain a disciplined life. Take your food at proper times every day and ensure that your biological clock is the way it is supposed to be.

These five simple rules, if you can follow, will help you to keep a check on any lifestyle disease that you may have.
