If you’ve been dealing with acne, you know exactly how hard it can be to face the social world, and as a result, you may feel like you now have a lower level of self-confidence. One of the ways in which most people gain self-confidence is when they know that they look good. Acne on its own is a skin condition, and some people feel that they shouldn’t treat it with additional chemicals and preservatives. Apart from medical creams, you have the option to use natural acne treatments that actually work. The time it takes for your acne to cure may be a little longer, but it would certainly help.

There are several types of natural acne treatments you can use, to help prevent further acne marks from developing. Even after you have gotten rid of acne, you may still have marks on your face. There are natural acne scar removal methods you could make use of as well. Throughout the rest of this article, we will be looking at some of the most effective natural acne treatments you could use at home.

Tea tree oil has been used for a number of skin related complications, as it has the ability to remove infections and bad skin cells. Just add some tea tree oil into a bowl with some water and dip a rag in it and let it soak. Once the rag is completely covered in the oil, wipe down your face with it. Leave the oil sitting on your face for at least thirty minutes. This should be done for four to five weeks in order to see improvements in the removal acne.

Yogurt also has the tendency to help make your skin pores open up, allowing the oils and infections to seep out. One of the ways an acne bump forms is when oils get blocked in the path of coming out of your skin. When the oils are blocked, they will form what is known as a discolored acne mark. So, this natural acne treatment involves using yogurt, which should be applied to your face or wherever the acne scars are. Leave the yogurt resting on your face for at least thirty minutes and wash down with cold water. This will leave your skin looking and feeling much smoother and it would also have opened up your pores. Lastly, use soap to wash your face thoroughly.

Honey is a great addition to any natural acne treatment, since it acts as natural antibiotic. You can prevent further outbreaks by smearing honey on the acne marks. Don’t use water until you are going to wash off the honey from your face or affected area. Every culture has its own set of natural acne treatments, so you may have a preferred method as well. Everyone’s skin is different, so you never know which acne treatment will work best. The one good thing about natural acne treatments is that you will never experience any form of symptoms. Medical treatments could have physical symptoms, so also watch out for that.
