Factorization is the most important technique to solve any algebraic equation which helps us to find out the real value of your coefficient. The algebra is one of the important branches of mathematics which is a nightmare for various students. To find factors one can use multiple mathematical operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, etc. On the other hand, you have to learn some essential formulas also to perform any algebraic equation, which some time frustrates you. Thus, you have another option to use that is factor calculator.

The standard format of any algebraic equation is like:

ax2+ bx +c=0

In which, "a, b, c" are simply numbered; either ‘b’ or ‘c’ must be zero, but ‘a’ never be zero.

Benefits of factorization method:

  • Using factorization method saves your time from performing multiple mathematical operations.
  • To find factors, use a digital calculator which can easily provide you the exact answer.
  • Using this method, you get desired answer in a very shortest form.
  • The factoring calculator is best to get factors in few seconds.

How to factor?

The most important part of the algebraic equation is finding factors. If one can do this, it means you conquer your half battle. Let us consider an example, let take an example,

a.) x2 +5x+6=0

Solution:

Step-1) calculate the factors of 6, which are 2 and 3

Step-2) 5 is the result of addition of 2 and 3

Step-3) X(x+2) +3(X+2)

Step-4) (X+2) (X+3)

Step -5) X= -2 and X= -3

Therefore, X has two real values, i.e., 2 and -3

To find factors for some more linear equation consider several examples as-

  • 2x-4=0
  • 2x+7=0
  • 13x÷3=39

These are some linear equation whose factors you are finding. It is quite easy to find factors of linear equation. First transfer the number opposite side of the variable element. If there are more than two variables, then try to add them and transfer remaining part on the different side. You need to eliminate the coefficient term to find the factors of any linear equation. Read the below article to know the solution-

Solution: 1.) 2x – 4=0

  • Step-1) 2x=4
  • Step-2) x=4/2
  • Step-3) x=2

Therefore, X=2

Solution: 2.) 2x +7=0

  • Step-1) 2x = -7
  • Step-2) X= -7/2

Therefore, X = - 7/2

Solution: 3.) 13x ÷3=39

  • Step-1) 13x = 39 * 3
  • Step-2) x= (39 * 3) / 13
  • Step-3) X=3* 3
  • Step -4) X=9

Therefore, X=9

Another important thing about factorization: If one can multiply two or more numbers together, then it results in the third number, if the third number is zero, then it is the exceptional case. In this case, if any number multiplied with zero always results in zero. Same, if we multiply any two factors and their result will be zero, then it indicates that one factor is equal to zero itself. In that condition, if one set of each factor is equal to the zero, then the resulting equation is solved only for one solution.

To find a factor of any number, we have a most common method which is factorization. With factorization, we get two real number values of any coefficient.
