HARO is great but it isn't the only option. There are alternatives to getting your brand seen online. Here is a list of ways you can get your brand noticed by other people and get your service or product mentioned and seen.

1, Social Mentions

Do you have a Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Instagram, LinkedIn and other social media platforms you can get a mention on? If you have friends who have these social media sites, why not ask them to mention your brand or service on them? It wouldn’t hurt to ask and all they can say is no but if they are really good friends or co-workers of yours, they shouldn’t. Also, make sure to mention your product or service regularly on your own social media sites.

2, PRNewsWire

Getting your brand mentioned in press releases can help you out a lot too. You can either hire a writer to write a press release or you can write it yourself. Then, submit your press release to the above mentioned website and that is all there is to that.

3, ProAdvertiser

Pro Advertiser is a good way to get a brand mention. You just pay $49 and they match you up with a journalist who will write an article for you as a guest post. The $49 is for beginners and this will allow you to Skype chat with your journalist, have one guest post published per month, and you will get that guest post social shared. For just $50 more, you get two guests posts per month, but the more you spend, the more you get for your money.

4, Google

This takes some work but once you get on Google, you will start to see more results. Google is the largest search engine online and the return on your investment is huge. This is especially true when being on the first page of Google.

5, Twitter

Sharing your service or product on Twitter, especially if you have a lot of followers, is a good idea. Share a few times per day and even use Hootsuite to schedule your posts throughout the day so you will have more time to work your business.

6, Linkedin

Another great social site to share your service or product is LinkedIn. Just as with Twitter and Facebook, you can bring on many customers by sharing on these sites.

Conclusion

The bottom line is, there are many different ways to get your product or service mentioned online and the more you do it, the better your return on investment will be for you.
