Just like we judge people by their clothes, a website is and content in it is judged by the typefaces it displays. A font style has its own character that should be do the talking even before one starts reading. One of the most crucial elements of a web designing features, designers generally takes it very casually. Many designers don’t go by the content or the business or the idea behind the website, rather they are keener in displaying their skills in choosing a typeface that looks stylish and very new in the market. This is an absolute NO NO!

As said, even fonts styles have character, it is very important to use right font at a right place. The matter is not to use a stylish font type, but to use the one that suits the object of the website best. Quality of a font directly affects the mood of the reader, thus a font has the capacity to charge a person moods and senses. This is very interesting that a font type has the power to change a person feelings and emotions. If it is so then how can we be so reluctant in choosing a font face? It has to be a well thought out process based on the target audience and more so the objective of the website and content it is displaying.

Choosing same typeface everywhere is not advisable as it looks more like a person visiting every place and event with the same set of suits or dresses. This gets boring, as user expects new things to be served to them from time to time. But then this won’t work in a website if every page comes with a different font style. Designer has to choose and decide this very intelligently how to use font styles at different places and placeholders or for different purposes.

Just like an ad banner with little text can come to two to three types of fonts to highlight different content types, a website should not have too many font faces to display its content. A website should be uniform in using content to make users feel they on the same place.

You build an impression through your typo selections. Good quality typography builds good engagement for the site leading to good mood of the readers who enjoy coming back to the website. A food site and a travel site might have a different font type. Similarly a new site goes with very simple and formal type styles.

One needs to think big to construct that impact on the audience. Headings and display texts are the main attention grabbers. They are the ones that make the first impression to make you ready to move further to interact with the site. Even the body content is not used properly can distract users from the site. Think what the objective of the website is and what expectation of text it has. Businesslike, Corporate, Gaming, Dining, Education, Fun, Women’s – whatever be it, it has to show through the typefaces what it stands for.

Typography impacts on human senses a lot hence it has to be interactive and expressive so that it can build a feeling of trust among your visitors.

Website designing companies in Delhi NCR are aware of this mood of readers and hence there many website designing companies in Delhi who work sincerely to put sincere thought process before embarking on any design work.
