Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University which is also famously known as IP University is a public university located in the National Capital Delhi The University was formed in the year 1998 by an act of the Government of Delhi. The University Grants Commission (UGC) had given the status of University to the institution in the year 1999.

The IP University has various undergraduate, postgraduate, integrated and dual degree programs to offer. IP University has a range of diversity when it comes to offering courses in various streams. Here are the details of significant courses offered by the university-

1. Graduate Courses:

B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology)- B.Tech courses offered under the streams Information, Technology, Electronics and Communication, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Bio-Technology.

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)

Bachelor of Vocational (B.Voc) Programs- The vocational studies are gaining the momentum in the present era. The IP University offer vocational studies in the field of Applied Arts (Only for Female Candidates), Construction Technology, Mobile Communications, Printing and Publishing, Software Development, Automobile, Interior Design (Only for Female Candidates), Power Distribution Management, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

LLB (Bachelor of Legislative Law)

B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture)- The B.Arch degree is provided by the University School of Architecture and Planning of the IP University.

The Dual degree programs include five courses which are offered by Different schools of the IP University.

The University School of Information & Communication Technology offers dual degrees in B.Tech/M.Tech (Information Technology), B.Tech/M.Tech (Electronics and Communication) and B.Tech/M.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering).

The University School of Chemical Technology offers dual degree in B.Tech/M.Tech (Chemical Engineering).

The University School of Biotechnology offers dual degree in B.Tech/M.Tech (Bio-Technology).

3. Integrated Courses:

The University School of Law and Legal Studies of the IP University offer BA LLB (Hons.) course which is a five-year Integrated Law Degree Program).

4. Postgraduate Courses:

The variety of major postgraduate courses of the IP University includes-

Weekend M.Tech Programs in Information Technology, Computer Science and Electronics and Communication.

The regular M.Tech Programs are offered in the streams like Digital Communication, RF & Microwave Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, VLSI, Food Technology, Engineering Physics, Nano Science and Technology, Information Security, etc.)
