Xiaomi Redmi 5A to go on sale for the first time today in India

However, this offer is applicable only on the base variant with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. After applying the cashback of Rs 1,000, the Xiaomi Redmi 5A will cost you just Rs 3,999. To avail the offer, Redmi 5A users will have to recharge with Rs 199 every month for the next 12 months. The Rs 199 pack will offer you unlimited local and STD voice calls, unlimited data (1GB daily) and unlimited SMS valid for 28 days. However, the first recharge should be done between 5 December and November 30, 2018.

The cashback will be credited to the user's account in the form of 10 vouchers which will be worth Rs 100 each. So the total value of vouchers will be worth Rs 1000 and will be visible under My Vouchers in MyJio app. If the users do the Rs 199 recharger every month continuous for 12 months, they will get Rs 1000 cashback.

To recall, Xiaomi Redmi 5A smartphone was first launched in China last month at 599 Yuan which is approximately Rs 5,884. The Xiaomi Redmi 5A is the successor of its popular Redmi 4A which was launched in India earlier this year.
