Pune is the second largest city in the Indian state of Maharashtra and the seventh most populous city in the country. Pune is a city of knowledge and often known as the Oxford of the east. In Marathi, it is known as "vidyeche maherghar" which means, the hometown of education. In Pune, there are lots of engineering colleges so that it’s difficult to choose for students. 1. Bachelor of Pharmacy:

Bachelor of Pharmacy is a four-year degree course Affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, commonly known as B. Pharmacy or B. Pharm.

Eligibility criteria for admission to the first year of degree course in Pharmacy:

For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates- The candidate should be an Indian National, Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology and obtained at least 50 % of marks (at least 45% marks in case of a candidate of backward class categories and persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra state) in the above subjects taken together and Obtained Score in MHT-CET 2017.

For NRI/OCI/PIO, Children of Indian workers in Gulf countries, Foreign Nationals- The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology and obtained at least 50 % of marks in the above subjects taken together and Any other criterion declared by appropriate authority from time to time.

Eligibility Criterions – Direct Second Year B. Pharm:

For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates- The candidate should be an Indian National, Passed diploma course in pharmacy with at least 45 % of marks (at least 40% marks in case of a candidate of backward class categories and persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra state) and Any other criterion declared by appropriate authority from time to time.

2. Master of Pharmacy:

Master of Pharmacy is a two-year degree course Affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, commonly known as M. Pharmacy or M. Pharm. Master of Pharmacy with Specializations in Pharmaceutics, Quality Assurance Techniques, and Pharmacology.

Eligibility criteria for admission to Master of Pharmacy:

Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates- The candidate should be an Indian National, passed Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from any AICTE or PCI or Central or State government approved institutions with at least 55 % of marks (at least 50% marks in case of a candidate of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging only to Maharashtra state) in the above subjects taken together, Obtained score in GPAT conducted by AICTE and for sponsored candidates minimum of 2 years of full time work experience in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.

3. Doctor of Pharmacy:

Doctor of Pharmacy is a six-year degree course Affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, commonly known as Pharm. D.

Eligibility criteria for admission to first year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.)-

For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates- The candidate should be an Indian National, Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology and obtained at least 50 % of marks (at least 45% marks in case of the candidate of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging only to Maharashtra state) in the above subjects taken together or Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy from institutes affiliated to State Board and having the approval of competent central authority and State Government and obtained at least 50 % of marks (at least 45% marks in case of the candidate of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging only to Maharashtra state) and The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks in the MHTCET 2017.

4. Doctoral Studies Ph.D. :

Ph. D. in Pharmacy with Specialization in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy.
