Every student today targets a goal to be successful first and then sees himself settled at a certain position. His demand prioritizes a happy go lucky life at the top and then the list is continued. Mindsets: Students’ beliefs about their academic ability influence their academic tenacity. Their belief that the efforts they are putting shall pay off also plays an important role. They should be motivated to have a broader look at the concepts rather than focusing on to the point things.Students may view intelligence as a fixed quantity that they either possess or do not possess (a fixed mindset) or as a malleable quantity that can be increased with effort and learning (a growth mindset). And this plays a really important role in students’ performing-term achievement. Once when they decide to keep moving they automatically develop a broader mindset that there’s still to achieve and learn.

Goals: Students’ target of the goals often predicts their academic success. Their target level portrays their approach. Students with fixed mindsets often worry more about their performance than their learning. In other words, they focus on quality and not quantity. Thus they tend to focus more on their performance and try to protect their identity. They focus on maintaining their position. While students who focus on learning goals tend to seek out academic challenges, persist on difficult academic tasks more, and develop their abilities more readily. People can have both types of goals but being extremely involved in performance goal and trying to avoid failure can be quite harmful as they don’t come across various situations and loose the opportunity to learn new things.

Self-Regulation: Self-regulatory skills—those that allow students to rise above the distractions and temptations of the moment, help them maintain the focus, overcome the distractions and stick on the position gained.Focusing on cognitive as well as non-cognitive skills in students leads to wholesome development which produces not only academically strong kids but smarter kids in every aspect.
