Tucked away on six acres of picturesque Vermont landscape, the Lincoln Inn and Restaurant is a vacation destination and culinary gem for locals and travelers alike. Alone or with good friends, for an extended stay or just the night, the Lincoln Inn and Restaurant offers a charming backdrop for your perfect vacation experience. From the tranquil sounds of the river to the lingering scents drifting from the restaurant, the Inn inspires all the senses. Our head chef hails from the kitchens of Europe, and she uses her global palate to create a one-of-a-kind, gourmet-fusion dining experience only available at the Lincoln Restaurant. So come and discover your home-away-from home in one of our six rooms, share stories with fellow travelers at the tavern, and relax with a glass of wine by the fireplace as the evening sky settles over the Green Mountains.

The Lincoln Inn was built in 1875, and it was once a farmhouse owned by President Abraham Lincoln’s cousin. Bordered by the Ottauquechee River and the famous Lincoln Covered Bridge, we are located just minutes west of the Woodstock Village Green. Woodstock is one of Vermont’s fondest and most treasured vacation destinations, where visitors can experience the local flavor of one of "America’s Best Main Street Towns." Stroll along the tree-lined avenues with historic brick houses, quench your cultural thirst by visiting an art gallery or catching a live performance at one of the playhouses. Each season offers a new adventure, from skiing in the winter to hiking in the magnificent autumn foliage in the fall.

A getaway is an exploration of both the earth and the soul. Discover your taste for adventure and become rich with experience, write your own story and open the pages to new acquaintances. Indulge in the culinary experience of our chef’s inspired creations. Let your memories run deep and wide, and always remember, "There are no strangers here, just friends we have yet to meet."
