A mezzanine connector is an electrical connector that connects one printed circuit board (PCB) to another PCB.. The term is commonly used when one PCB is arranged in a parallel manner, with one board placed above the other.

These are highly useful to solve packaging issues. There are several types of mezzanine connectors used for a wide range of applications. This article discusses some of the most common types of Mezzanine connectors available in the market.
