Microsoft Will Show Insights Obscured Data Using AI Technology

Microsoft has been using artificial intelligence to many of its Office suites based on cloud memory. This time, Microsoft has come up with another use of AI. This Software leader wants to improve the experience of Excel users in finding data and business insights that are not frequently apparent while they are working on their spreadsheets.

From the latest updates of Microsoft Office 365, the office suits will source Excel Spreadsheets and store all the data on the cloud by using Artificial Intelligence. The tool will help in recovering lost data and provide a new service. The tool is called Insights in Excel and it will automatically detect patterns and points up. This tool will make the accessibility for its users much easier to search and analyze their data. Kirk Koenigsbauer, Microsoft corporate vice president, recently blogged about the features of this new tool. Presented by Machine Learning, Insights in Excel is programmed to identify trends, outliers, and other useful visualizations, giving new and useful perspectives on data.

Microsoft will give out a preview of Insights in Excel to office clique by the end of the month. The Office Insider program, like its Windows counterpart, permits associates an early access to forthcoming versions of Office application and services. The Insights in Excel mirrors adjacent to the main interface and produces a chart of a sequence of scrollable that are suggestive of the visualizations presented by Power BI, Microsoft's cloud-based business intelligence, and analytics offering. Users can click on any chart and easily append it to their Excel files.

Not everyone works in Excel, but nearly every employee faces some language or corporate terminology on workday durations. To help fresh and longtime users, the tool has come up to grip unknown terms and other business standardizations, Microsoft have declared the new Acronyms feature in Word.

With the help of machine learning, Acronyms drag Microsoft Graph to define unknown terms. Microsoft is a set of APIs that helps workers and business data to give contextual information during a user's interface with Office 365 applications.

If users face any unknown terminology, they can get help from the Review menu detail to understand what the author's purpose based on emails and records where it had been defined previously. Despite the fact of an Office user support function, they might have to wait for a while before the Acronyms feature evolves. The company said Acronyms will be assigned to commercial Office 365 customers in early 2018.

Microsoft is incorporating with Cortana & Harman Kardon this December. Cortana will be the implicit assistant technology in the Windows 10 operating system and Harman Kardon will develop smart speaker for Outlook iOS.
