WWE News: The Shield In Action but It was Triple H vs Jinder Mahal Show in India

Ever since the announcement of WWE arrival in India, the WWE fans were all excited to witness their favorite superstars in India. Their long wait came to an end when WWE announced the Indian event for December 9, 2017. Famous WWE superstars such as Triple H, Roman Reigns, Finn Balor, Alexa Bliss, Jinder Mahal, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Cesaro and many more got a chance to showcase their talent in front of Indian fans. In the highly anticipated live event, where thousands were in attendance, it was the Modern Day Maharaja who stole the show by stamping his authority and reiterating that there's only 'one true king'.

The crowd was hooked to the action from the very first minute as Finn Balor faced Bray Wyatt. People cheered Finn Balor as he defeated Wyatt after a stern competition. In the next fight, the Miztourage faced the Indian Duo of Jeet Rama and Kishan Raftar who were a part of WWE's tour to India last time. As the match progressed, the Indian duo got support from their home crowd and went on to defeat Miztourage. Next, WWE Raw Women's champion match was between Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks in which Bliss defeated Sasha Banks to retain the RAW Women's Championship. The crowd went crazy when The Shield arrived into the arena. Roman Reigns & Co fought against Shaemus, Cesaro and Samoa Joe. Cesaro, Joe, and Shaemus had the upper hand before Roman gained the momentum and the crowd went wild for a superman punch from Reigns. The Shield comfortably defeated the trio and received ovation from the crowd. In another events, Titus O'Neil & Apollo Crews defeated Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, while Enzo Amore defended his Cruiserweight Championship against Kalisto and Braun Strowman defeated Kane via DQ.

As the main event arrived, the crowd went crazy seeing The Modern Day Maharaja aka Jinder Mahal. However, it was Triple H who received a huge pop as he entered the ring. As the match started, Jinder had the upper hand. The match swung in both directions as the two fighters locked horns. The match ended with Triple H defeating Jinder Mahal. Post match, Triple H thanked Indian fans and praised Jinder Mahal for his skills.
