Paul Michael Levesque, better known by the ring name Triple H is right now the Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative for WWE. He is one of the greatest Superstars of WWE universe. Triple H started his professional career in the International Wrestling Federation (IWF) in 1992 under the ring name Terra Ryzing. He then joined WCW and later WWF (now WWE) where he became Hunter Hearst Helmsley and later Triple H. Triple H had a career full of controversies and rumors. Whether it was his affair with Stephanie McMahon or friendship with Mayweather, he had continuously remained in WWE news. Here are 5 interesting facts that you probably don't know about current WWE Executive VP of Talent -

  • Triple H had a very forgettable run in WCW as Jean-Paul Levesque but he managed to show flashes of potential in the few opportunities he was given. Once Ric Flair had revealed that Triple H was offered a whopping $250,000 deal to re-sign with WCW which he turned down and joined WWE with hopes of being spotlighted.
  • Before dating Stephanie McMahon, Triple H was involved in a public relationship with Chyna. Shortly after, Chyna was released by WWE, Triple H and Stephanie became the most powerful couple in the wrestling industry and married each other in 2003.
  • Triple H once wanted to fire John Cena during his initial career. John Cena himself revealed this thing that Triple H was one of many who doubted his wrestling skills and wanted to end his WWE career due to his unimpressive work. Triple H used to think that Cena was a terrible wrestler before evolving into the star he is now.
  • The Rock and Bill Goldberg were the two wrestlers Triple H had hated the most. He had thought them as a threat to his popularity in WWE Universe. Bret Hart revealed in his book that Shawn Michaels and Triple H would try to bury The Rock early in his WWE career.
  • Triple H is the man behind Kevin Owens success in WWE. Presently, Owens has become one of the fastest rising stars in WWE. Owens recently stated in an interview that after his WWE tryout, there was a vote to decide if he would get hired and it came down to Triple H saying yes as the deciding vote. Seeing something special in the unconventional wrestler, Triple H not only hired him but instantly pushed him in NXT and on the main roster.
