Will I be able to cope up to the level of other students in the advanced yoga class?
Will I be able to learn the advanced techniques and postures?
Is my body capable of taking the additional strain?

If you are considering climbing up the ladder, here are some points to help you understand if you are ready to take the leap ahead.
- If you can do 10 or more vinyasas in a single practice and continue breathing with ease without getting tired and worn out, then you are ready for the advanced level.
- Whether you are able to do all poses and postures of the basic level yoga is not important to be eligible for the advanced class. If you can hold a shoulder and head balance for five minutes (supported and unsupported), then you are ready to take the big step ahead.
- If you can follow the instructions of the teacher to the tooth and can move from one pose to the other with ease, then you are ready to climb the ladder.
- Following instructions and words in Sanskrit is quite challenging at the onset. If the language now seems familiar and comprehension is not intimidating, then it’s the right time to move forward.
- The poses, asanas and postures in the next level are not completely alien to the beginner’s level. You will observe that some of the postures and asanas are common across both levels. What’s more, the advanced level classes include advanced postures and asanas in the same groups as the beginner’s level; for instance: standings, back bends, balances and more so.

- If you are physically and mentally flexible to work with a new teacher and learning new skills, then you are ready to take the leap ahead.
