Every year it’s the same old thing. Everyone makes a New Year’s resolution only to break it within days or weeks of ‘turning over a new leaf.’ This year, why not do yourself a favor and resolve to be good to your skin, with one major difference. This time you will keep your resolution!

If you are like so many women around the world who are noticing the beginnings of those tiny lines that you know some day will deepen into full-blown wrinkles, there is something you can do about it if you start today! Here are some tips to keep those lines at bay, reducing them to the point where even you don’t notice them when you look closely in a mirror.

1. Stay Out of the Sun – But IF You Must…

The best thing you can do for your skin is to stay out of the sun. Unfortunately, we are not nocturnal creatures and there will be times when it’s unavoidable to be in direct sunlight for extended periods of time. If you absolutely cannot avoid those direct UV rays, buy a high value SPF sunscreen. Even winter days, as cold as they are, can expose you to damaging rays from the sun, so this is a first step in being good to your skin from this year forward.

2. Choose the Right Anti-Aging Cream

Many women don’t understand that much of what you hear about skincare creams and treatments is just hype. What you need is a product that delivers the right nutrients through the epidermis and is proven to be able to do just that. Since the outer layer of the skin is a protective barrier which is hard to penetrate, it takes a special formulation to permeate the epidermis.

Because of this, you need to invest in a product like Dermaset Skincare if you want to see actual results within a short period of time. Customer reviews are showing that you can reduce the appearance of crow’s feet and those tiny lines and puffy eyes do go down. Do you want a product that works? Read what others are saying. Do yourself a favor and stick with something that others are finding effective – don’t settle for Madison Avenue hype.

3. Stay Hydrated!

You have also been hearing water touted as a magic ingredient that not only prevents many illnesses but can also treat those you already have. Water is truly one of nature’s most remarkable restoratives, and when it comes to your skin, there is nothing better than plenty of water every day. Many of those tiny ‘age lines’ are the result of dehydration. Once you bring your levels of fluids back up within normal ranges, some of those lines which aren’t treated by penetrating skincare creams will start to disappear as well.

This year, it’s up to you to keep your New Year’s resolution. Water isn’t going to pour itself into a glass and creams aren’t going to apply themselves. If you want to finally start doing something to reduce those visible telltale lines, you will need to stick to your resolve. However, this is a lot easier than many of your other resolutions, so you know you can do it! It all starts with a mirror and a resolve to look your best.
