An important landmark event that took place in the beginning of the session was the establishment of Jagannath Institute of Engineering and technology, Sitapura, jaipur with the approval of the Rajasthan Technical University. Jagan Nath Gupta memorial education has indeed achieved another feather in its cap with the setting up of a Institute of Engineering and technology in the state of Rajasthan.

The first batch of Jagan Institute of Engineering and technology commented from july.2008.The overwhelming response of students who sought admission in it from across the length and the breath of the country further confirmed the standards that Jnit and jims have achieved as excellent and technical and management education providers in the country.

The last semester saw many positive changes in the campus with large faculty and staff appointments rapid expansion in infrastructural resources and systematic academic studies. In association with nen an E-cel has been formed in JNIT on 8th August, 2008 that includes those students who are willing to be the future entrepreneurs Mr. Sharad karma took pleasure in announcing that Jnit suits the bill to have its first E-cell named

Its logo which is shown above has been designed by the member itself. The club includes fervent 52 members team which are divided into five fraternities namely. Each Fraternity includes one leader one co-leader and eight members. All the members were chosen by justified marks given on the basis of their interview taken by faculty members. Amongst these members two were chosen as the president one of the core team and another of the volunteer team by the convener Mr. Mukesh gupta.

Talking about the canteen of the campus it has all you want to make your tummy happy. All facilities are available and seating arrangements are the most remarkable and wonderful thing that you can make yourself comfortable while eating. Next about Mess facility it is out of mark, the mess staff is so generous and food and surroundings are most hygienic. Hostel facility is also high class with gymnasium, club, sports hall etc all the facility to make one feel like home at hostel.

The most important department of the college is Training & Placement Cell that is known as T&P Cell is an active and student friendly department.
