JIPMER 2018 Examination Applicant Details

The competition to get to that most coveted seat in one of the premier medical institutes in India has already been round the corner. With the examination for the undergraduate medical courses in Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER scheduled for June 3). About 1.89 Lakh candidates had taken the examination in the previous year for 200 undergraduate seats.

It is estimated that there would be a steady growth in the number of the applicants in this year. It is recommended that candidates focus on English and Reasoning to contribute in a variation in terms of the ranking. Students tend to concentrate on more technical components, such as physics, chemistry and biology. If students score well in other subjects and lose out in English, the ranking of candidates would go down.

About 1.89 Lakh candidates had applied for the JIPMER Examination in the previous year, 150 candidates on the Puducherry Campus and 50 on the Karaikal Campus. The examination was held across 339 examination centers in 75 cities all over India.

He also added that UG Level Entrance Examination follows best the single response system, this has no negative marking aspect. The question paper is framed by a committee having experts from different parts of India. The question paper is framed by an expert panel from different parts of India.

The level of JIPMER Examination difficulty is the same as the difficulty of Grade 12 exam. The student must have a good understanding of the basics in order to do well in the examination.

The fact that Jipmer has gone online is a reason a lot of people are now applying for the examination. The examination could be accessed by students all over India. According to him, management was never keen on increasing the count of seats.

Hard Work of the Candidates

Students mostly went to coaching classes and referred to materials containing mock questions that were not officially published on JIPMER. A lot of aspirants attend coaching for JIPMER and prepare for the examination. Along with the entrance examination, the student should score at least a 50% score in the 12th grade to qualify for the examination.

JIPMER was granted the status of being an Institute of National Importance as enacted by the Act of Parliament on the lines of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research based in Chandigarh.

JIPMER Examination would be held on June 3, 2018. The JIPMER Application Form is expected to be released in the month of March.
