Install the fall arrest anchor plank and fix it with the brackets which secure it

Make sure the nails go in all the way to the roof framing

Strap the roof safety harness on your body as per instructions of the maker. Make sure all the buckles are properly attached before you proceed any further

Take the roof fall arrest anchor and fasten it to the peak by using the instructions given by the manufacturer. Drive some screws through the roof frame to fasten it properly, and then use a wrench to tighten them.

Take the safety rope now. Clip its end to the back of the fall protection anchor. Take the lanyard and clip it to the ring on the back of your harness. Use the rope grab to squeeze and place it on the safety rope as you start to move around the roof

Use a bucket that you have hung from the roof bracket installed before to keep all tools and equipment.

You Have To Follow Some Safety Procedures While Working With The Harness As Well.

Check the lanyard and harness for worn out webbing or a loose stitch. If found so, do not use it at all and send it back

Tighten all the screws properly to have your anchor secured

Keep a distance of at least six feet from the edge of the roof when fixing the anchor.

If you follow these steps, you should be safe to work on the roof without any hazards.
