High protein diet (proteine dieet) is growing huge popularity these days as it is effective in fast weight loss (snel afvallen) and providing beneficial nutritive values to the body. This type of diet is proactive in boosting the metabolism of the body and keeping the body fuller for a longer period. Such diets are crucial for those people who want to shed that extra pound in a limited time period. But this diet plan shouldn’t be started without the prior approval of dietician or doctors. The following are certain types of this diet that are very healthy yet goal oriented.

Stillman diet

This diet has the use of 64% protein, 33% fat and 3% of carbohydrates. In this diet fats like bread, pasta, dairy products are often avoided and consumption of lean proteins like eggs, seafood, low-fat cheese, meat are welcomed to eat. In this theory, basically protein helps in burning the sturdy fat and the intake of carbohydrates is helpful in maintaining a limited amount of required fat.

Sugar Busters Diet

This type of diet allows the intake of all the types of proteins, fats, alcohol in a limited amount for the body. But it restricts the food items like corn, carrots, beef, white rice, potatoes, and other food items that are made up of refined white flour. This diet includes the composition of 27% protein, 21% fat and 52% carbohydrates.

Zone Diet

In this zone diet, there is 30% fat, 30% protein and 40% of carbohydrates. In this diet form low-calorie food items are encouraged but the intake of every food item should be in a restrictive quantity. However, it does not promote the food items like bread, pasta and certain sweetened fruits.

South Beach Diet

This diet is beneficial for those who are looking for fast weight loss (snel afvallen) solutions, as it promotes the intake of food items like meat, fish, eggs, low-fat cheese, butter oil and many others but restricts the intake of bread, pasta, milk, alcohol, vegetables rich in starch like potato, corn, peas and many others. However, this diet should not be taken for more than a couple of days; as such diet can become offensive to health and can cause serious health problems. This diet should not be initiated after the prior approval from the doctors or dieticians.

The above are the few options that one can seek to live a path of healthy and fit life without compromising with the taste buds and cravings.
