As we hear most of the time that leadership play a very significant role in the success either a success is concern to group as a whole or success of individual member. The different layers of leadership is an effective model in business to produce and increase productivity and profitability. It is the leadership that help to maintain good relation, manage resources according to the work, improve strength and reduce weakness.

A team or an individuals all need leader who lead them, inspire them, encourage them, and provide direction, so that they perform at their best level. Leaders boost the trust and morale of the employees and even they help to develop confidence about your product and services for your clients.

1. Model Excellence

We all heard the famous phrase that behavior breeds behavior. This phrase clearly shows that if your attitude and behavior is rude toward your employee, subordinate and other people then why you expected them not to talk to you rudely. Your attitude and behavior ultimately impact on other attitude and behavior.

2. Open and Honest Communication

For an effective leadership either for a team or an individual leading required an open, honest, clear and robust communication. It can be developed when leaders shared values and building a culture environment that increases trust factor among employees. Remember, when honesty and transparency are absent there can be no more trust.

Without trust any individual does not give their best, do not help to contribute to the team as well as unnecessary conflicts also rise.

3. A Supportive Environment

Leaders meet regularly with their team member to discuss the future plan, objectives, what they have to cover, what they need to achieve, create an environment of innovation and work on employee weaknesses individually.

Further leaders will meet the individual person to talk about their objectives, responsibilities, development, and performance. Effective leaders lead the group of an individual person by,

  • accepting difference and diversity,
  • motivate every individual through its strengths and
  • Supporting individual member at the time of personal or professional challenge.

4. Understand the Expertise

The good leader works and identifies the strength and talent of their team as well as individual talents and skills that are important for team success.

For success motivation and positive attitude are more important than the experience. When leaders individually guide they also explore hidden talent in employees.

Leaders create the sense of belonging to every individual that how their skills help them to achieve shared business success.

5. Celebrate Success

Good leaders celebrate success and achievements with their team members. Reward to your team member when they have done the outstanding job. This will build loyalty and trust as well as boost passion to work hard in the future.

6. Actively manage through adaptive change.

This is very important in business. All business need change at the certain point when the owner spread the business in a dynamic industry. Good leaders always know when the change occurs. This time team members show worst behavior and things get wrong rather than to get better.

But the great leaders brilliantly manage this change as well as help individual people to adopt change as soon as possible. Before implement change, good leaders always discuss the change with their employees and explain why it is important. Secondly, they explain how this change impact on individual performance. Also getting the continuous feedback from the employees during the transitional period of change.

In the end, it is concluded that leadership plays a very significant role either to lead a group and lead an individual person. Further, if an organization want to get the success they not only focus on the team but also groomed every individual employee, because their contribution also matters in organizational success. It is only possible when leaders understand their responsibilities effectively and leading a team and individual simultaneously.
