People have a conception that e-cigarettes are used as an alternative of smoking, but it's actually not. It is not smoking rather it should be called as vaping. As in electronic cigarette people tend to inhale a vaporized liquid that is present in the device. A heating element helps to vaporize the Ejuice and the vapour is what the user will inhale thus it's not smoking as with smoking the tobacco smoke is inhaled.

What is e liquid?

This is basically a solution which is present in the device that will be vaporized. This is made by mixing 5 ingredients that are:

  • Vegetable glycerine- This comprises of the 80-90% of the liquid. This is a common element that is found in products of personal care like toothpaste, etc.
  • Propylene glycol- It is mixed with Vegetable glycerine to create the base of liquid. It is mainly used because of its potential to form thick vapour clouds.
  • Flavour- Comprising of 10-20% of the liquid. Most common flavours are of fruits like apple, banana, pineapple, etc.
  • Nicotine- Some liquids have nicotine in them some do not have. Big brand uses good quality nicotine.
  • Distilled water- It is sometimes used to dilute the liquid in needed.

Side effects of liquid

There are certain side effects that a person may face when using a flavoured liquid for Ecigarettes. The most common effects that one is likely to suffer from are:

  • Propylene glycol causes dry throat. It extracts all the moisture leaving throat dry. This could lead to soaring throat problems. One must consume lot of water to resolve this problem.
  • Propylene glycol also leads to aching and cramping. It leaves lactic acid which releases toxin during a massage. By drinking a good amount of water, lactic acid will be easily flushed away from body.
  • Too much Propylene glycol consumption leads to night sweats and diarrhoea.
  • Nicotine in the liquid may cause acne, headaches, and shakiness.
  • Overdose of nicotine may lead to dizziness, fast pulse.

Although the side effects are very likely go away within a very small period. These effects are noticed in person having some allergy or sensitivity problems. The problems may also occur when in an adjustment phase, these are specially found in people who are using the product for the first time.

The side effects are thus negligible when compared to direct tobacco smoking. Ecigs are less harmful and so the choice is clear. Start having new ecigarettes and protect your body from much harm.
