Does Science Support Evolution or Creation?

For most of history, men have believed and accepted that all life came from a loving Creator. It was only until recently that a very small number of people started to believe that God doesn't exist and that life and the universe are the output of a very improbable stroke of luck.

But does science support that? To answer the question we must first understand that science is explained as facts that have been proven to be true. This means for something to be scientifically accurate, it must be proven. From the beginning we have an issue. That's because those who say that humans evolved from monkeys and that this process has been going on for billions of years, did not live on earth all of those years ago.

Also, the ones that believe that the earth has existed for such a long time and that the belief of evolution is proven, lack any proof of one life form turning into another. Yes, we see changes within kinds (all canines came from wolves), but an increase in the genetic information for an organism has never been observed in any way.

When you study the truly observable evidence that we have available right now with an open mind and being unbiased and honest, you shall see that not only is evolution not strongly supported by the proof that we have at our fingertips, it's very foundation is based on a huge number of assumptions. You shall find that whether true science supports evolution or creation depends solely on your worldview. Your worldview is your belief on how the universe and all living beings came into existence.

As Christians, we believe the information in Genesis, and the rest of the Bible and we believe that observable science strongly back it up. Those who believe in the theory of evolution believe that they are the result of an incredibly improbable act of luck which caused lifeless matter to come to life. And here we have yet another problem for evolutionists. Of all of those who believe in the theory, not one has ever been able to take dead organisms and produce life.

As followers of Christ, we believe that is due to the fact that only the Creator can create life. We also believe that God created the universe and the earth and as a loving and good God, He gave us free will because robots cannot love. We took advantage of that free will to do things that we know are wrong and go against Him.

As a perfectly just God, that decision to disobey had to be punished. That righteous penalty is death (spiritual and physical) and that death is eternal. And we believe that because God so loved us, he came to earth fully man and fully God to legally pay our penalty for us! And that all who accept Jesus Christ (all that He stands for and is, in His very being) into their heart will be saved from the righteous judgement of our righteous God!
